Turn your passion into purpose by joining the Live Green in Plano (LGIP) Volunteer Program. The LGIP Volunteer Program provides adults and teens (ages 16+) the opportunity to make a difference in the Plano community by participating in engaging, educational and impactful opportunities year-round, with spring and fall being the two busiest seasons.
We welcome new volunteers into the program twice a year
(spring and fall). The LGIP
Volunteer Program seeks individuals interested in participating in a variety of
volunteer opportunities available year-round, with spring and fall being the
two busiest seasons.
Eligibility Requirements to join the LGIP Volunteer Program:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Create a volunteer portal and complete the required online waiver
- Attend the required one-time new volunteer orientation held virtually
- Adults (ages 18+) must also complete a free, no-cost background check after attending the orientation
In orientation, LGIP Volunteers will learn about the
Sustainability division (Live Green in Plano), how LGIP Volunteers make a
difference in the Plano community, as well as volunteer opportunities
available.
