INTERN PREP DAY VOLUNTEERING!
Spend the day with the Plano Mayor’s Summer Internship Program on Saturday, March 23 at Capital One Headquarters for the annual “Intern Prep Day.” Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and cannot be related to an intern applicant.

Intern Prep Day is a mandatory training day for high school students participating in the Internship Program. T-shirts and lunch will be provided for all volunteers!
Activities will vary but may include:
• Directing parking lot visitors/cars into the event entrance (outdoors)
• Greeting and giving directions once inside (indoors)
• Helping with event set-up
• Assisting with check-in
• Assisting with food and snack stations
• Room monitoring and supervision of interns as they attend sessions and have lunch
• Volunteers with HR or related professional hiring experience can help support a mock interview practice session for the interns.
• Help break down from the event
Dress code: Black pants/skirt with VIP t-shirt (provided at check-in)
Requirements: Volunteer must be at least 21 years and complete a waiver and background check (free).
