Tabletop Game Masters at Davis Library - 18+

Description

Roll for Volunteering

We're looking for experienced Game Masters (GMs) to support Davis Library's Adventure Gaming Club for grades 6-12. During this program, GMs will lead groups of attendees through a one-shot, Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Whether there's dragon slaying, befriending orcs or casting fireballs, GMs will inspire their group to solve problems, stretch their imaginations, and socialize.

These young players are likely to be somewhat new to RPGs. The ideal GM will be patient, interested in volunteering multiple times, and committed to inspiring future generations to keep rolling! Applicants must have experience being a GM and preferably some general experience interacting with youth ages 11-17.

Pre-made character sheets are provided for attendees. Some players bring their own, which are checked by staff or volunteers before the adventure starts. All characters are low-level and must be built from core guidebooks. The Library provides dice, character tokens, maps, modules, dry & wet erase markers, pens/pencils, notepads and more!
