We're looking for experienced Mah Jongg or Mahjong players to support ongoing Taste of Mah Jongg programs at Schimelpfenig Library.
Volunteers 18+ are needed 1-2 Monday evenings a month. No formal teaching experience needed. All tools/sets will be provided.
What Volunteers Do
- Help teach others
- Join games when a fourth player is needed
- Offer strategy suggestions and tips
Volunteer Requirements
- Open to ages 18+
- Experienced in the American and/or Chinese versions of the game - most attendees play Mah Jongg (American)
- Willing to complete a FREE volunteer background check
- Prior experience teaching NOT required - as long as you know how to play and want to help others, this opportunity is right for you!
