Who We Are
Plano Library Friends is a 501(c)(3) focused on supporting the Plano Public Library through fundraising, advocacy and volunteer efforts. They enrich the Library's services through fundraising, advocacy and community engagement. The Friends have served as a proud partner of the Plano Public Library since 1965.
The mission of the Plano Library Friends is simple: to foster a love of learning and literacy by providing resources and support that enhance the Library’s programs and accessibility for everyone in Plano.
The Bag of Books Sales are facilitated through Plano Library Friends in partnership with the Plano Public Library. In the past 20 years, the Friends have raised more than $2.3 million for Library programs and services.
