Group Volunteering at Animal Services

Thank you for your interest in bringing your group to Plano Animal Services. PAS welcomes groups of 3 - 6 adult volunteers on Mondays - Fridays from 11 AM - 1. Groups larger than 6 can request multiple days and assign up to 6 people per day.

When volunteering as a group, you’ll support staff by cleaning dishes, assisting with laundry, tidying yards and kennels, and organizing donations or storage. The projects you work on are determined day-of based on the staff’s real-time need. One-time volunteers cannot perform unsupervised tasks that involve handling animals.

Requirements: 

• All volunteers must be at least 18 years old
• Group size is 3-6 adults
• Must be willing to complete tasks as assigned
• Sign a group waiver upon arrival

Available group shifts are listed below:

• Monday - Friday from 11 AM - 1 PM

The below form allows you to share details about your group and request specific dates. Your responses are sent to Morgan Green-Griffin, who coordinates all Animal Services groups. Please allow up to 3 business days for us to review the request. Once you're scheduled, you'll receive a calendar invite will all necessary details that can be shared with group members.
