The LGIP Volunteer Program provides adults and teens (ages 16+) the opportunity to make a difference in the Plano community by participating in engaging, educational and impactful opportunities year-round, with spring and fall being the two busiest seasons. We welcome new volunteers into the program twice a year

Eligibility Requirements to join the LGIP Volunteer Program: Must be at least 16 years of ageCreate a volunteer portal and complete the required online waiverAttend the required one-time new volunteer orientation held virtuallyAdults (ages 18+) must also complete a free, no-cost background check after attending the orientationIn orientation, LGIP Volunteers will learn about the
Sustainability division (Live Green in Plano), how LGIP Volunteers make a
difference in the Plano community, as well as volunteer opportunities
available. *Please note that court-ordered community service hours are not offered through the Live Green in Plano Volunteer Program.
